Freemake Video Converter gets my vote because it has an easy-to-use interface, customization options if you choose to dig deep and can queue as many files as you need. With Miro you can only convert one file at a time. Not great if you're going to go on vacation and plan to have a lot of videos converted for your media device the night before.
