Reeder is the best app for Google Reader subscripints
Of the traditional "list" style readers for iOS, Reeder is the best. It's fast and performs flawlessly, the UI is efficient, and it gives lots of options for how to read without being unduly complex. Both the iPhone and iPad versions are excellent.
I like the newspaper style readers like Flipboard in principle, but this is the app I use every day.
I've always liked the concept of Google Reader but it's interface is near to nonexistent. Reeder adds the interface and easy use. For me it's the perfect app for reading RSS feeds everyday.
I use this on my Mac and on both the iPhone and iPad. Flipboard is nice, but if you go through is much news as I do it's just a bit too much.
I've tried a few different RSS apps for iOS and by far this is the one that offered the features I was looking for. I don't need a fancy layout. I just want to get through all of my feeds quickly and read the articles that I want without waiting too much.
The feeds load up a lot quicker than some of the other paid apps I've tried in the past. Readability integration also allows me to read the actual article without loading all the ads and other useless stuff that usually come with an article.
This is one of the few apps that I've stuck with for so long. Definitely worth every penny!
I've tried every RSS reader available on the iPad, and I stuck with Reeder. It has every possible feature you could want, integrates with many social networking and bookmarking sites, and is incredibly easy to use. The UI is minimalistic yet beautifully styled. Reeder is simply the absolute best in class.
Reeder is great. The interface is really simple (which I suppose could be an issue for some users). I'm just looking for a reader that gives me the news- and looks good doing it. Reeder is perfect for this. Believe it or not, it's actually one of my main reasons for using Mac OS X instead of Windows.

5 Simple and awesome
