Spotify is simply fantastic. I disagree with the last commenter - you can get a TON of mileage from the free version alone. I love listening to full albums while at work throughout the day. The mobile version is limited, yes, but if you can take advantage of the desktop app, it's worth every (free) penny.
PS - requested this app removed from the iPad category. Though it will work running as an iPhone app on the iPad, there is no native iPad version of Spotify at the moment.
I have had Spotify Premium pretty much since it was available in the UK and I can't fault it. The service is great, although it sometimes looses a few songs due to licencing (they re-appear shortly afterwards) I have a great selection of playlists that I play through often. I sometime find myself doubting the price but then I realise it is justified by my average to high usage. You can't fault the audio quality of the tracks, nor can you fault the speed at which they load and play (often instantly and seamlessly). I like to listen to music when I'm out and about and the Android app is something else completely. With Premium offline sync its the perfect all around desktop and mobile music service, and when you think about it the price is a great deal. A massive library and impressive service.
Its quite useless unless you have a subscription. Spotify is amazing music service, however you can't listen to any playlists you have on the desktop app without paying a monthly fee.
I've been using spotify on and off in the U.S. for over 2 years now.I have a VPN and used a relatives UK address to set it up.I like the iPhone app but I feel that it is lacking some key features at this price point. While @Eric is correct you can get allot out of the desktop version I just don't spend that much time at my desk listening to music because I'm always out. Also I've found the iPhone and the desktop version (Mac) to be very buggy and missing some key features for sharing music on social networks.Facebook is Spotify's platform of choice and you can see it all over there website and apps which is fine for Facebook users, but I would like to be able to tweet a song as easily as posting it to Facebook. Another thing lacking in the iPhone app is the ability to change and view profile info.Spotify does have a huge selection of music and you have the option to sync your idevice with spotify instead of iTunes. I haven't done this yet because when you do you all of your music is replaced with lower bit rate MP3's. Having said this I really think that spotify has the right idea and is moving in the right direction. But currently I can't justify continuing to paying $10 a month for a music service that still has ALLOT of bugs to work out with all of their apps.I think I'll give Rdio a try and continue to use my Grooveshark iphone app for now.I may upgrade in the future but not at a $10 price point.
I just received an invite from David Bain. I'm currently evaluating Spotify. So far I really like it. So the hype is worth it. In my previous review I complained because it was an invitation only program and was upset that still had not received an invite for over 2-3 months. I also couldn't justify paying for a subscription out right without evaluating the program first.
I have been using Spotify Premium for about a month now and I think it's the best music streaming app out there. It's quick, light on resources and most importantly it lets me access my itunes library wherever I am on my iphone. The offline mode is great as well for when I don't have a connection. I actually find myself using Spotify as the only way I listen to music on my iPhone and iPod touch now. Goodbye Last.fm and hello Spotify. The only thing missing is a Roku app.

This is not a web app
This does upload your music to the cloud, but it requires an install thus is not a true web app.
