Pandora - music and music discovery at its best

I am a big fan of Pandora. Pandora is a music playing and music discovery app. If you provide Pandora with a band or a song you like, it will build a station that plays that kind of music. The music has been sorted by it's core features, like acoustic guitar, blues influences, etc. All of the stations you create a stored and you can even create a quick mix by combining several stations. The stations are stored centrally and therefore are available from any of the many devices that can use the service. I use Pandora on my TiVo, iPhone, Android Tablet, OS X app, Windows app, and, of course any browser.

I like Pandora because

1. It has turned into the best way to discover new music and has introduced me to many new artists

2. Multi-device/platform support

3. Cost - basic service is free with advertisement support

4. Cost - Pandora One is an annual subscription service which is $36

The one limitation for some will be that you can not download songs, so you must always be connected to use the service.

4 I use this thing all the time.

I'm also a big fan of Pandora. I use it on my droid x2, ipad, ipod touch, and my computer at work. It simply works. For me, I am not interested in uploading my music like with Google Music, tried that took too long for upload. Tried Spotify nice on the desktop at home but you need a paid account for mobile.

I like the random music that Pandora offers and allows me to discover new artists.
