3 Costs add up, sync is wi-fi only

Yes, Things organizes tasks the way I want them to be. But paying for pricey desktop and mobile versions makes it far more expensive than other options. And only being able to sync on wifi is old school and annoying.

Great app, but no online sync

If you are looking a todo app, this one is great and the price is worth it. However if you are looking for anything compatible with windows, then look somewhere else since this is only a mac app. Cloud support is reportedly in beta right now so it's coming.

4 Good for work areas; cloud sync is coming

Things has a great way of separating and combining like objects. Not only are there "Projects" for things to sit in, there's also "Programs" which they call Areas. While it's not for people looking at critical paths, it's awesome for a percent complete view.

Tags also add a layer of customization for views of data and adding at-a-glace as to impacted resources or types of activities.

The only missing piece for a very long time was repeating tasks being able to be created on the iPhone/iPad versions of the application, however this is now present and works quite well.

The separate price for the iPhone and iPad versions is a bit prohibitive for some people and can cause some headaches. Until cloud sync-ing is enabled this isn't the best choice for people working from multiple devices.

4 Nice and simple

If you're just looking for something that will track your list of todos then this will be the app for you. I've tried other apps that offer a lot more features but I really didn't want to spend too much time entering every detail for each of my tasks.

Things keeps things simple and manageable. The only thing that is missing is the ability to sync to the cloud. Apparently that will be coming soon though.
